Founder’s Story

C.H. Hodges, Inc. was founded in 2003, emerging from advisory work in corporate consulting and financial services. After serving as Senior Managing Director for a Greenwich-based advisory firm, Howie Hodges launched the firm to provide independent counsel to financial institutions and closely held businesses navigating complex regulatory and market environments.

Over the next two decades, he held senior leadership roles across nonprofit, corporate, and federal sectors, including executive positions within major media and telecommunications companies. Throughout this period, C.H. Hodges, Inc. continued to advise clients in financial services, business development, and public-private engagement.

Since 2019, the firm has operated full-time, serving large financial institutions and mission-driven organizations with counsel spanning political risk, reputational strategy, and community impact structuring. Clients have included institutions such as Morgan Stanley, Ford Foundation, and Pretium.

In complex environments, the right decision is rarely the loudest one. My role is to help institutions move with clarity, discipline, and foresight.
